Oscars Worst Dressed

Worst Dressed - Beyonce

The songstress accented her hourglass figure with this black and gold mermaid style gown from the House of Dereon. Beyonce has delivered yet another horrible choice for the red carpet, I think she was attacked by the same fabric used on Scarface's office couch or possibly the couch in the bathroom at Studio 54.

Worst In A Toga - Jessica Biel

Justin's lady love went terribly wrong in this Prada column gown. I think she was planning to go to the Delta Tau Chi house after the Oscars. Jessica wore black pumps to match her black Prada clutch, but when she walked in the gown it looked as if she was wearing pants. The whole thing was a mess, but her hair looked great!

Boring in Black - Angelina Jolie

I think Angelina looks stiff in the black Elie Saab couture strapless gown and haven't we seen this look from her a thousand times? I think Angelina needs to wear some colors like blue's and green she has that stunning mane of brunette hair there is no need to look like Elvira.

Red Carpet Renegades and Repeat Offenders

Mama Mia starlet Amanda Seyfried looks tacky in this Valentino bow tragedy..Yikes!

Love you Amy Adams - A+ for your necklace, F for your dress strapless Carolina Herrera ruby red gown. Photo Courtesy of Yahoo

Last year's Best Supporting Actress Tilda Swinson donned the red carpet in yet another horrid choice in a boring beige Lavin blouse and a black skirt for the Oscars. Someone please fire her stylist and give her a makeover!

The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star looked gorgeous in this cream Pierre Balmain vintage gown. Most Improved - Marisa Tomei

I am so proud of Marisa she has bombed on the red carpet all season. The second time nominee stole the spotlight in a pearl-grey Versace Atelier one shoulder satin organza gown and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry!

Best Metallic Shimmer -Anne Hathaway

The Best Actress nominee shimmered radiantly on the red carpet in this gorgeous strapless Armani Prive gown. I just want to point out that I picked a strapless Armani Prive gown for Anne to wear to the Oscars!

New York Fashion Week 2009 -80's Revival

I am sorry I am a little behind this week with the happenings in New York. I can tell you that there has been an 80's revival on the runway. Shoulder pads were all the rage once, well guess what - they're back!

Case in point Dolce and Gabbana added large geometric patterns with bold colors. Layers and lace were also spotted in the 2009 D&G spring collection for 2009. We've spotted a trend on the red carpet this year with bare shoulder's like Miley's one shoulder Max Azria number from the Grammy's and Kate Winslet's Yves St. Laurent strapless black gown she wore at the Golden Globes. However, it looks like Hollywood may have to cover up and add more layers to keep up with these trendy spring fashions.

2009 Grammy Report Card

With Highest Distinction:
Taylor Swift was absolutely stunning she dazzled on the red carpet in this Black Kaufman Franco gown with black patent leather straps. Adding to this sophisticated style was the singers Lorraine Schwartz jewelry particulary the 120 karat bracelet. Bravo Taylor! Photo courtesy of MSN

Also receiving top honors were Miley Cyrus, Sheryl Crow, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood and Kate Beckinsale

Lets talk about Miley's choice for the red carpet - Miley who was just being Miley on Grammy Night arrived as Taylor's date. The singer wore a beautiful black one shoulder Max Azria gown accented with a gorgeous rosette. Her jewelry was combination of Mimi So and Jonathan Saunders bangles. Photo courtesy of MSN

I absolutely loved Carrie Underwood's lovely beaded gown designed by Zuhair Murad, accessoried with Jonathon Arndt jewels her look was simply classsic. Photo courtesy of Pop Sugar

Could there have been anyone more beautiful to introduce Sir Paul McCartney than Kate Beckisale? The British Beauty chose a black strapless Reem Acra gown and Lorriane Schwartz jewels. Photo courtesy of Pop Sugar

Katy Perry brought a old hollywood glam to the red Carpet this year. Being known for her style she wore this beautiful bubblegum pink Basil Soda strapless gown with a beautiful jeweled floral embleshment designed by Neil Lane.

Sheryl Crow was breathtaking in this blue Maticevski gown accented with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Photo Courtesy of Posh 24

2009 Best/Worst Dressed Golden Globes

Best: Kate Winslet Double Nominee Kate takes a break from black and slips into this stunning Colbalt Blue form fitting gown from Narcisco Rodriguez.

Worst: Angelina Jolie Angelina seems to have an "I don't care how I look attitude" this awards season. Although this is a huge improvement from her Golden Globes gown, the Changelling star missed the mark in this Maz Azria dress. Later we found out that Angelina decided to wear the dress backwards...oops! Although I do love her jewels by Tiffany and Company and her hair is beautifully pinned up and back to show her gorgeous face.

Best: Anne Hataway The Best Actress Nominee for her role in Rachel Getting Married looks stunning in this white grecian inspired column dress by Azzaro. The jeweled neckline adds sparkle andthe inset waistline gives it a gorgeous figure hugging look.

Best: Evan Rachel Wood The star of The Wrestler has come a long way from her goth inspired fashion days. Evan Rachel looks simply gorgeous in this one shoulder Monique Lhuiller gown and Neil Lane jewels.

Evan Rachel Magnificent in Monique Lhuillier Photo Courtesy of Ew.com

Worst: Jane Krankowski Even though the 30 Rock star's show was handed several awards I cannot award Jane as best dressed. This Roberto Cavalli dress is too red and plunging for Jane, she looked very uncomfortable from the Red Carpet to the Awards Ceremony. Jane let this look stick to those that are younger...PS J Lo called and she wants her dress back.

Jane Risky in Roberto Cavalli Photo Courtesy of EW.com

Best: Christina Applegate The Samantha Who star really made an entrance when she graced the red carpet in this exquesite draped jade Emanuel Ungaro gown. She finished off her polished look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Swarovski clutch.

Best: January Jones Mad Men's troubled housewife was anything but in trouble on the Red Carpet. January really hit a homerun here with her Cleopatra inspired look by Andrew Gn. The black gown was stunning with the gold embellished neckline and waistline. She completed the look with a pair of Jimmy Choo's!

January Stunning in Black Photo courtesy of InStyle

Worst: America Ferrera This Vera Wang dress is a trainwreck on the Ugly Betty star, I know for a fact that Mode would not have let her wear this out in public. America looks like she is being swallowed up by a box of silk scarves or pantyhose.

Ferrera Failed in Vera Wang Photo Courtesy of InStyle

Worst: Rosario Dawson This Silver Dolce and Gabbana dress is flirting with disaster on the Seven Pounds star...it looks like she has seven pounds of runched fabric on her. Rosario should have stuck to something form fitting and sleek to accentuate her beautiful figure.

Rosario doomed in Dolce and Gabbana Photo Courtesy of EW.com

Best: Taraji P. HensonThe Benjamin Buttons star and SAG nominee looked absolutely fabulous in this white halter Herve Leroux gown accented with H Stern jewerly.

Henson beautiful in White Photo Courtesy of InStyle

Worst: Tina Fey The 30 Rock Star had all kinds of trouble keeping her top up all evening and the classic little black dress was just not that flattering on Fey. Tina may have won her category that evening but Coco Chanel is rolling over in her grave right now.

Tina's Tiny Top Photo Courtsey of Access Hollywood

Worst of the Worst and Repeat offenders

Wisteria Lane Meltdown Longoria-Parker misses in Peach or is it tangerine? The neckline is terrible and that is not a strapless Jenny Packham gown. It looks like old pantyhose were sewn to finish the ensemble and make it a halter.

Nicolette not really radiant in blue Photo courtesy of Zimbio

Notice the fish cuff - not attractive Photo Courtesy of Zimbio

Holly Hunter not so pretty in Pink Photo courtesy of Day Life

Marisa misses in this yellow taffetta mess Photo courtesy of Day life

And the Worst is: Emily Blunt Miranda Priestly would never let her wear that eye sore to any event. I love your style Emily but you failed to make the grade here. Everything is wrong here, the silver skin tight Pamella Rolland gown washes you out and your hair is so slicked back it looks greasy...fire your stylist..That's all!

Blunt bombs on the red carpetPhoto courtesy of Day Life

And the Best Dessed is: Claire Danes Claire really looked ravishing in this crimson Nina Ricci silk tulle gown. I love how it seems so light on her and frames her figure in all the right places. I love how her hair is pinned up and has just that one little srand falling down the side of her face. Her jewels are Fred Leighton and her shoes are Jimmy Choo's.
