I am sad to report that Alexander McQueen has committed suicide - Britian's Daily Mail is one source reporting the fashion mogul hanged himself at his London home.
The following statement was released by his offices ~
"It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family."
Alexander has suffered with tragedy and loss recently losing his mother Joyce, and the tragic suicide of his mentor and close friend Isabella Blow three years ago.
He was one of the shining stars of the British fashion industry — his autumn collection was one of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week where he was expected to participate at the next one.
Our thoughts are with the McQueen Family at this sad time.
