A few weeks ago I received an email from Michelle Brantley, VP Public Relations & Marketing for R.Lynda asking me to attend their upcoming fashion show in Indianapolis on July 29th and I was immediately intrigued! Who is R.Lynda? Why am I unaware of a fashion designer in Indianapolis? The answer is because Arlinda Norris head designer of R.Lynda has yet to make her fashionable debut! R.Lynda is about combining the "best elements of couture" pairing haute couture but keeping the needs of the modern woman in mind! Lookout world R.Lynda is coming to shake up things in the fashion industry first stop Atlanta Fashion Week then its back to the Midwest where the most fashionable secret of the summer will be revealed!
In talking with Michelle and Arlinda they describe the line has being feminine and romantic yet bold and sexy. The desinger uses delicate fabrics in creating her line with the draping effect and soft textures, these fabrics feature the woman's shape in a way that makes her unique, feeling confident and girly at the same time! In watching Indy Style yesterday morning I could also see influence from Mrs. Norris' Portuguese background. The designer was able to give a sneak peek of two designs from the collection and they were just as beautiful and I had imagined!
The event is open to the public please RSVP to rsvp@rlynda.com
